Dave Jackson, Idaho Bureau of Homeland Security

Dave is the Mitigation Program Manager with the Idaho Bureau of Homeland Security (BHS). He has worked for BHS for the past 8 years. His area of responsibility focuses on hazard identification, risk analysis, risk reduction (hazard mitigation), and critical infrastructure protection. The majority of the mitigation programs he is responsible for focus on natural hazards. His previous positions with BHS included managing the training and exercise programs. Dave earned a B.S. degree in Emergency Administration and Disaster Planning from the University of North Texas in 1997. He lives in Boise, with his wife Cathy.
