Employed with the U.S. Forest Service for three seasons on the Clearwater and Nez Perce National Forests performing timber inventory and wildfire suppression duties.
Employed by the Nez Perce Tribe since 1995 in the Forestry and Fire Management Division and am currently in the position of Acting Fuels Planner.

Primary duties with the Nez Perce Tribe include:- Planning, preparing, and administering fuel reduction treatments on tribal lands
- Meeting with landowners in the urban interface to develop “defensible space plans” and educate them concerning wildfire safety
- Co-preparer of the Nez Perce Tribal Fire Prevention Plan
- Aiding rural fire departments on the Reservations to apply for Rural Fire and Community Fire Assistance grants
- Continued coordination with existing County HFT/WUI Working Groups
- Aide with wildland fire suppression and prescribed fire activities
- Prepare prescribed burn plans
- Supervise timber inventory and presale crew
- Planning, preparing, and administering timber sales
